Sorry no IC.allowed on our lake. Logan Modelers are a club that supports all phases of model boating, whether it be sail, scale or steam.We sail Wednesday & Sunday from 9am till 1pm. Fun only comps include sail scale & soon, tug towing. Night sails are held quarlerly. These start about 3pm with free sailing. Red green & white solar lights,come on, with the set of the sun. All boats entering in the night sail must be correctly lit. In May we have our Open Day, along with night sail & also in September we have our half open day, also with nightsail.This includes a sale of unwanted members items. These two events are patronised by several other clubs also.Membership cost is at present $50.00 a year per person.We have tea & coffee at all meets & sausage sizzle fortnightly. All Welcome.
General meetings 2nd thursday monthly at Browns Plains Library. 6pm. Committee meetings are also held monthly.
We sail at TYGUM LAGOON. This is South of Brisbane directly behind Waterford West shopping centre. Proceed south on Kingston Rd & turn right at Brodies Chicken outlet, at Waterford West, & right again. We are at the wharf. Your there folk, & WELCOME.
