In the 1970s, Airfix was the manufacturer of choice for 1/72 scale kits. Although Asian companies have made inroads since, Airfix's recent resurgence is evidenced by kits such as its new Canberra. It is worth adding to your collection, but it has a couple of issues that will hone your modeling skills.
