Have you ever accidently pulled a decal up with masking tape? I did recently, and it made me sick thinking I would have to rob a perfectly good kit just for one marking. So, I tried an experiment: I placed the tape with my decal stuck to it in a small bowl that contained a solution of water and liquid dish soap. In about two days, I was able to lift the decal off the tape cleanly with my hobby knife and reapply it to my model. Problem solved!
