A tip for keeping tips clean

RELATED TOPICS: GLUING
I hate the way my super-glue applicator tips and tubes get clogged, becoming worthless every time I use them. To prevent this, I filled a small jar, like the ones minced garlic is sold in, with acetone (nail-polish remover). When I’m finished using an applicator tip or tube, I just drop it in the acetone and close the jar. Next time I’m ready to use it, I fish it out with tweezers, drain it on some tissue, and it’s ready to go — just as open and clean as it was when it was new.
