Display those unbuilt kits

RELATED TOPICS: MODEL DISPLAYS
Some modelers ask what to do with kits they won’t be able to build in their lifetime. I’ve taken a few of my favorites from the ’60s and mounted them in shadowboxes. You can purchase the boxes at art stores or thrift shops and they can be fitted and matted. You can coat the decals and instructions with anti-acid spray and mount them with the parts and box. If all you have left is the box and/or instruction sheets, flatten the box and mount them the way record album collectors do.
