To remove paint from model parts, soak them in a solution of 1:1 Simple Green and water. Use a weight to keep the plastic under the solution if you have to. After 24 hours, the paint should peel right off. Then rinse the parts with cool water. It’s nontoxic, and you can use the solution over and over. I strain the paint out and store it in a tightly lidded container. It is a chemical though, so keep it out of the reach of kids.
