Paint & Play: A Striking Soulrender

See the colorfully finished Warhammer figure
RELATED TOPICS: FIGURES | SCI-FI / FANTASY

Kim Taylor painted this impressive gaming figure from Warhammer: Age of Sigmar for the November 2019 issue.

It's a member of the Idoneth Deepkin society, Aelven raiders who lurk in the deepest oceans. As their offspring are often born without souls, they use their magic to absorb those of other races. Hanging at the end of the imposing helmet is a lurelight which the Soulrenders use to attract the souls they desperately need. Swimming at its master’s side is a Rakerdart fish, ready to stab prey with its bony head.

Because the finished gaming piece is so detailed and colorful, we wanted to give you a few shots of it from different angles. Find out how to paint your own by picking up the November 2019 issue here.
