Film and video game enthusiasts gathered with their models in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 30-31, 2026, for the 36th annual WonderFest Hobby Expo. This year, it celebrated the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek, held seminars, reproduced the original ILM model shop in Anaheim, presented sci-fi and fantasy movie and TV personalities, and, of course, hosted the model contest. FineScale Modeler set up in the contest room for the event and captured plenty of photos!

Fantastical figures and vehicles straight from the silver screen dominate this Kentucky show
These chibi figures look like they leapt out of their animated movies thanks to Annya. She put the 3D-printed Nomnom figures of Tod from The Fox and The Hound and Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon, painted with acrylics and shaded with pastels, into crystal globes after placing them on cork and 3D-printed bases.
