This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle from Wes Salazar replicates a “restored driver” you might see on the road. Built from a 1/25 scale Revell kit, it has a fully detailed motor, plug wires, machined pulley, and photo-etched metal nuts and bolts on the chassis. Wes painted his Chevelle Scale Finishes Dusk Blue.

At 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, the 40th annual and last NNL West kicked off at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA. Dubbed a “smashing success” by its organizers, we have to say it was one heck of a sendoff, with 1,360 models displayed (a record for the show) from more than 161 builders. The work, as always, was stunning, and the modelers pulled out all the stops to bring their best. Here’s to you, NNL West! May your legacy live on!
