Bill replaced the Gemini spacecraft atop a Real Space Models 1/72 scale Titan II booster with an injection-molded craft from Dragon to model the Gemini 6 mission. He painted the rocket and spacecraft with Tamiya acrylics and Alclad II lacquer over Mr. Surfacer 1500 White primer.

Earth, Wind & Fire were not the only ones to remember the 21st of September, because 89 modelers and about 80 visitors showed up at the Utah Army National Guard J Garn Aviation Complex in West Jordan for SLC XXIV. They brought 483 models, and the day included tours of the Apaches and Blackhawks of the Utah Army National Guard. IPMS/Salt Lake City alternates its show with IPMS/Boise, so be sure to check it out again in 2026.
