Little car show in rural Wisconsin brings in the talent

Mike Kollver built a car he wished he had and now does (in scale), a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette! Mike’s signature is to make the front wheels on all his models posable, and he did that with this Revell 1/25 scale kit, along with running plug wires and fuel lines and flocking the interior carpet.

The Tabletop Cruise-in show rolled into Johnstown, Wisconsin, on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023. Drawing modelers from the Chicago suburbs and Milwaukee, the show had a full vendors’ hall and plenty of gloss and metallic flake to keep spectator eyes glued to the contest tables. Here’s a taste of what was on offer.
