James built this Trumpeter 1/48 scale F-106A and added aftermarket details like a resin F4 pilot figure modified to fit the cockpit and a drag chute from 3D Chute Expert. He finished the model with Mr. Color acrylics and Model Master enamels. James’ first attempt at an air base runway depicts an F-106A of the 94th FIS touching down at Selfridge Air Force Base, Michigan, following its return from the Korean deployment in 1970.
