The TigerCon Scale Model Contest & Vendor Fair celebrates hobbyists who labor with their hands and create intricate model cars, planes, ships and more from manufactured kits and sometimes from scratch.

The contest features 25 categories, including “Best in Aircraft,” “Best in Military” and “Best in Automotive,” with the best models winning “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice.”

This year’s TigerCon will also include a “Make-N-Take” activity for kids ages 8-14 where they can learn to build a scale model on site free of charge and take it home.

Admission

The contestant fee is $15 but there is no charge to view the models and shop the vendor tables. The event also includes a silent auction and raffle.
