Lou Dalmaso, Raleigh, North Carolina Lou finished AMT’s 1/48 scale Eagle transporter from Space: 1999 with Tamiya and Polly Scale acrylics. Pre-shading and Aztek Dummy masks weathered the ship.

FSM‘s away team, Mark Savage and Aaron Skinner, warped to Louisville, Ky., June 4-5 to explore WonderFest, the largest gathering of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror modelers in the United States. Hundreds of people attended the colorful show bringing with them more than 300 models. Here’s a short video and a gallery of photos to give a taste of the fun event.
