A master of the unusual, Victor scratchbuilt this futuristic 1/24 scale Mercedes concept car with parts from a Tamiya AMG Mercedes-Benz kit. He painted the vehicle that looks like it would be at home in the world of the anime classic Akira with Bob’s Paint Violet Purple.

The best automotive modelers in the Milwaukee area traveled to Ari’s Sports Bar and Banquet Hall in West Allis, Wisconsin, on Saturday, April 9, for NNL Milwaukee 29. FSM asked attendees to show their favorite models and here’s what editors Tim Kidwell and Aaron Skinner photographed.
