Tom Valenta built a Tamiya 1/12 scale 2016 Yamaha R1M sport bike with a Detail-Up set that included front forks, rear suspension, and various photo-etched metal parts and painted with Tamiya colors.

The Atlanta Car Model Enthusiasts (AMCE for short) held its annual model show, the Southern Nationals NNL, on November 6, 2021, in Smyrna, Georgia. For more than a quarter century, Southern Nationals has been a mainstay regional car show. This year showed that it remains a prime event to show kick-ass scale auto models.
