At 1/12 scale, John’s Autocar armored truck dominated the table. The paper model of the Canadian World War I lorry was designed by Dave Winfield and includes a ton of details, such as folding sides and functional stowage bins.

The DuPage County Fairgrounds was the place to be for Midwest Modeler on Saturday, Nov. 4, as the IPMS Butch O’Hare Chapter held its 40th annual Model Contest and Vendor Show. There were more than 250 models on the contest room tables. Check out the gallery for a sampling of the models on hand.
