Tom Valenta’s 1/25 scale 1978 Ford Mustang Boss 302 started as an MPC firefighter drag car. He added Zimmerman wheels, wired and plumbed the engine, and placed Boss 302 decals over the Grabber Blue paint.

The Atlanta Car Model Enthusiasts (ACME) hosted its annual Southern Nationals contest on Oct. 28, 2023. In a new venue at the Clarence Brown Conference Center in Cartersville, Georgia, the show saw its largest tally of scale cars, trucks, pickups, and motorcycles on the tables ever, with more than 1,000 models entered. Congratulations to the folks at ACME, and let’s take a look at some of the displays!
