Ruane Crummett built the AMT 1/43 scale 1969 Ford Mustang. For the car’s bright finish, he painted it Daytona yellow, added Bare-Metal Foil, and topped it with Testors Wet-Look gloss clear.

The Classic Plastic 2023 scale model contest, held in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on Oct. 8, 2023, had the theme “Nova Again” and the subtheme “Behold the Olds.” Hosted by the Classic Plastic Model Club, the 29th annual contest tables hosted nearly 300 entries. Let’s take a look at some of them!
