Kevin Taberski’s Moebius Models 1/25 scale 1965 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Styleside Pickup is more than just a build—it’s “a representation of a real truck from my childhood.” He recreated the classic with a showroom-quality finish using MCW White and Tropical Turquoise lacquers, applied through an Iwata HP-CS airbrush. Bare Metal Foil was carefully applied to bring the trim to life with a realistic shine.

On April 5th, 2025, CoMMiESFest returned to its original home at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden, Colorado. This year’s IPMS/CoMMiES (Colorado Modeling Militia Enjoying Sci-fi)-hosted event shattered previous records with an impressive 434 entries, attracting participants from nine U.S. states, Alberta, Canada, and even—by proxy—Hungary. One highlight of the contest was a rare six-way tie in one of the aircraft categories—a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship on display. From sleek cars and detailed aircraft to imaginative sci-fi builds and finely crafted figures, the show offered something for everyone.
