With a wealth of knowledge on various sports car racing series, Henry Trent’s contributions are always a highlight. His Italeri 1/24 scale Porsche 956-001 test car showcases multiple Tamiya primers, cigarette foil heat shielding, and an impressive 30 hours of meticulous work.

Despite its chilly name, the Hope It Don’t Snow model contest brought the heat to Spartanburg, South Carolina, on January 18, 2025. Held at the Four Points by Sheraton, this steadily growing scale model show drew hobbyists from across the region for a day packed with creativity, craftsmanship, and community spirit. With a wide range of entries and the 2025 show theme—“Numbers”—challenging builders to incorporate vehicles with numbers in their names, the event once again proved why it’s a favorite winter show and contest.
