Harold Wholf

Thrall, an orc shaman and once-Warchief of the Horde in the World of Warcraft universe, comes to life in this 3D-printed figure. Harold hand-painted Thrall with Vallejo acrylics over black primer. He popped details with dark washes and dry-brushing.

More than 1,000 models crowded the contest tables at this year’s WonderFest, held in Louisville, Kentucky, May 31-June 2. Drawing modelers from across the U.S., the quality of work awed visitors, and the contest room was packed consistently for three days. Of course, we can’t photograph all the models, but we can share with you some of the standout entries that caught our eye. Enjoy!
