John calls this 1/25 scale beauty the Vettegatti — a vintage Bugatti with Corvette flare. He reworked an AMT Corvette kit with custom rear skirts, interior, and chassis. He tricked out the fuel-injected engine under the hood and couldn’t help but give the classic light yellow and black two-tone scheme extra spice with red accents.

The Butch O’Hare Model Club hosted its 42nd annual show at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois, on Nov. 15, 2025. Ships made a good showing this year, with the Nautical Research Guild bringing many of its members, and the tables for cars and aircraft were crowded, too. Mechs, popularly exemplified by Gundam, continued to gain recognition, and figures were well represented. See the gallery below for a sampler of what there was to see!
