James built HobbyBoss’ 1/48 scale F-111E for an old squadron-mate who worked on F-111s at RAF Upper Heyford in the mid-1980s. He replaced the molded static wicks with fine wire, scratchbuilt intake covers, and painted the camouflage with Mission Models acrylics.
