Using pigments and artist oils, David made the Civil War ironclad ram USS Choctaw look appropriately weathered for service on the Mississippi River. He detailed the Flagship Models 1/196 scale kit with turned-brass masts, styrene rod spars, model railroad chains and eyebolts, and EZ Line rigging.
