“I love building interactive models which do something when buttons are pressed of levers are moved,” says Steve. In addition to lighting Moebius’ 1/32 scale Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper with LEDs and fiber optics, he plumbed it with brass tubing from the base to portray the turbo effect. Details from ParaGrafix enhanced the fighter and he painted it with Tamiya spray cans and Mr. Color lacquers. Post-shading, acrylic washes, pastels, and Tamiya Smoke (No. X-19) added a weathered finish.
