To create one of 28 Gato-class submarines built in Manitowoc, Wis., Richard built the AFV Club 1/350 scale USS Rasher and replaced the kit’s 40mm and 20mm Bofors guns with aftermarket ones from Black Cat. The colors are Polly Scale acrylics applied with a Badger airbrush.
