Classic Plastic 2022 model show and contest photo gallery

Seminal Northeast show restarts after a two-year hiatus
On Oct. 2, 2022, the Classic Plastic Model Club held its 28th annual model car exhibition in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Modelers from the northeastern U.S., Nova Scotia, and even Nebraska entered 358 models into the competition. Here are some of the standout models seen at the show.
Bruce Morris spent two months building his Atlantis Models 1/16 scale “Green Elephant” Chevy Vega Funny Car. He sectioned the body over the frame, moved the engine forward ¼ inch, custom-printed the decals, and fashioned custom debris panels. He painted with HOK Kandy Green over a gold base.
