Better with Bare-Metal Foil

It’s not as difficult to use as you think — here are the tips and tricks you need to know

One of the challenges modelers have faced for years is to paint realistic metal finishes, particularly chrome. That’s where Bare-Metal Foil (BMF) comes in.

BMF has been around since the 1970s, and modelers have used it on everything from model airplanes to trim on cars. When used correctly, it provides a beautiful metal finish that can’t be beat.
