Today, Grex USA (an advertiser with FineScale Modeler magazine) announced a 10% price increase on its products due to U.S. tariffs and the increases in shipping and operational costs precipitated by the tariffs. The increases are scheduled to take effect June 1, 2025, and will affect all Grex products retail and minium advertised pricing (MAP).

“We have absorbed cost increases for as long as possible, but these new tariffs have created significant financial impacts across our supply chain,” Grex USA said in an email to customers.

The company also warned that “furth price adjustments” to select products or product groups may occur as a result of U.S. tariff policies.

Grex USA was founded in 1995 and is based in Alhambra, California. In addition to tools for hobbyists, like airbrushes and air compressors, it also has a full line of pneumatic nailers and staplers. Designed in the U.S., Grex tools are manufactured and assembled in Taiwan.
