In my short career in the flower business, I discovered a great modeling tool: floral tape. Used to wrap stems for corsages and the like, this waterproof tape is available in a rainbow of colors. It’s glossy on the roll, but stretch it and the finish goes flat. I’ve used floral tape for ropes, tie downs, and straps. I’ve also upholstered seats, covered floors, wrapped gun barrels and roll cages, and even shredded it for camouflage. Most of the models I’ve built have floral tape on or in them.
