When I buy a kit, it goes into the stash to wait its turn on my bench. In the meantime, I often run across articles about the kit (usually in older issues of FSM) that provide helpful tips in building, aftermarket accessories, or hard-to-find color information. I used to write these references on Post-it Notes, but they cluttered the boxes or got lost.

Now, I write references and notes on the inside of the box top. Unless I lose the kit box, I will never lose my notes.
