I do a lot of aircraft modeling, and sometimes there are a lot of weapons that need to be painted different colors. To save time and money, rather than using masking tape, I cut a rubber surgical glove into a large flat section by removing the fingers and slicing through the palm. Using an ordinary hole punch, I put a hole in the center of the piece of rubber. Then I simply stretch the hole around the bomb nose and spray the color I need (usually yellow), wait a few minutes, and pull the mask off with a quick tug. The result is a neat, sharp line. I can repeat the action with the same glove. I’ve found this technique works well on aircraft radomes, too.
