After being frustrated by trying to assemble individual-link tracks for a 1/35 scale Dragon SdKfz 251/16 Ausf C, I decided a jig was the solution. I glued two parallel lengths of .050″ (1.5mm) styrene H column about 1/8″ apart on a styrene sheet. Then all I had to do was place the links faceup, with the guide horns extending down into the gap, and connect the links. The size of the H columns and the width of the channel can be increased or decreased according to your specific scale or track type.
