I’ve seen Parafilm M (for sealing test tubes or beakers) used as masking to keep paint out. But here’s a way to keep paint “in.” When you open a new bottle of paint and don’t plan on using it again for a while, cut a strip of Parafilm M and stretch it around the bottlecap and neck. It will help preserve the paint for the next time you need it.
