Freedom Model Kits F-20A Tigershark
FineScale Modeler reviews the 1/48 scale plastic model aircraft kit. Developed in the 1970s as an evolution of Northrop’s F-5E, the Tigershark was powered by a single GE F404, the engine used in pairs on the F-18. The improved fighter’s impressive performance featured speeds in excess of Mach 2 and a ceiling over 55,000 feet.

Airfix Jet Engine
FineScale Modeler reviews the plastic model aircraft jet engine kit. The parts are molded in colors that represent the kits’ parts and are sealed in their own bags. No gluing — everything either presses or screws together — or painting is required. However, I painted some parts to make them look less like plastic.
