Fuel-tank tips and other circles on pointed or conical parts can be masked easily using Teflon tape, also known as plumber’s thread-seal tape. The thin, pliable material can be stretched to make circles on nose cones, props, and other shapes. It’s a cheap, effective solution to a difficult problem.
