For mixing paint or washes, and for blending pastels or weathering pigments, I use Paper Palette pads. Each pad contains 40 sheets and will last for years. I take one sheet, cut it into quarters or sixths, and place one of the sections on the table so I can mix paints on it (great for Vallejo dropper-type bottles). You can even squirt some super glue on there and it doesn’t bleed through. Best of all, just toss it into a recycling bin when you’re done.
