How to solve an airbrush pickle

Airbrush cleaning stations keep the air you breathe cleaner, but they are expensive. I use a cheaper option, employing a pickle jar loosely filled with paper towels. I cut a hole in the lid of the jar big enough to insert the tip of my airbrush. Now, I can spray solvents and cleaners into the jar with little chance of it escaping into the atmosphere. The paper towels absorb most of the solvents, and the jar holds the fumes well. Periodically, depending on how often you paint and clean out your airbrush, you can change out the paper towels in the jar and dispose of them properly. This has saved me money and health concerns, and I hope it can help others.
