Inexpensive scribing templates

I was about to throw out a vinyl mini blind when a voice in my head said, “Stop!” I returned to the shop and took the blind apart; it yielded scores of 1″ x 30″, .020″-thick vinyl slats easy to trim with scissors or a hobby knife. I use them now as scribing templates for panel lines. They are easy to make, flexible, and, being so inexpensive, I can throw them away after a couple of uses for unique lines.
