This simple method works great for a real stainless-steel appearance wherever you need it on a model:
1. Brush-paint a gloss white base coat on the area to be metalized.
2. While the paint is still tacky, dust the area with SnJ aluminum buffing powder.
3. Buff to desired sheen.
Using gloss black for the base coat produces a very realistic pewter shade.
