Getting paint to stick to vinyl or rubber-band tracks in armor kits can be a problem. Try Tamiya’s polycarbonate paint, designed for use on remote-control car bodies. I’ve found that it doesn’t peel off the soft plastic, even when flexed or bent. Try it on a small scrap first to be sure it doesn’t attack the vinyl.
