I have a lot of trouble creating realistic faces on my figures. To say they are garish caricatures would be an understatement. It sounds like a joke, but I have been able to achieve believably subtle effects with some of my wife’s cosmetics. It is easy to blend and feather edges, and obviously the colors are very natural. Cosmetics do fade and darken like pastels under top coats, so if you want to use a sealer you need to overdo the color coats.
