Instead of using masking tape to mask off your current project, try paper — wet paper. Precut the design you want out of paper. I like using notebook paper, but just about any will work. Saturate the paper with water and place it on the model. If it’s too wet, all you have to do is blot it. If it doesn’t conform to the shape, it may be too dry. This idea won’t work in all circumstances, but it will in most.
