As many of us know, lead foil is one of the best choices to model tarps, flags, etc. Now there is an alternative.

The paper foil packet that hot cocoa mix comes in is an excellent alternative and it is cheap. The paper gives it a cloth-like appearance when painted and the foil will hold the shape you want. It is thin enough to bend and fold to any shape and, best of all, it’s ecologically responsible. Now you can recycle what would otherwise be common household trash into beautiful artwork.
