You’ve probably seen potato-chip bags with an interior that looks like chrome. The chrome surface is perfect for periscope lenses on armored vehicles. Cut out a section and wipe it with alcohol to remove the grease. Measure the periscope face, trim sheet styrene to match, then super glue the package foil to the styrene, shiny-side out. Let it dry for a few minutes, brush on some Tamiya clear green, and attach it to the model. You can also use this foil for mirror faces and headlights.
