There will be a time in model building when you have to cut plastic or metal screens for your model. The instructions may provide a pattern for you to use, but you really don’t want to cut up your instructions.
Here’s what I do: I make a copy of the pattern, then cover it with Scotch tape. The tape makes the pattern firmer, so when you lay it on the screen or plastic you are cutting out the pattern lays flat, stays firm, and makes it easier for you to cut out the piece you need.
