Painless Modeling

Aaron Skinner’s story about hand care in Spotlight (September 2011 FSM) was very helpful. I live in an arid region, and washing my hands a lot for modeling has always meant dry, cracked hands. My buddy told me to put Neosporin on the cracks — it kils the bacteria and allows the wounds to heal. I use Neosporin + Pain Relief (the one with the little boy on the box). It’s a white creme instead of the slightly greasy Neosporin ointment. I put some on my fingers a few times a day, and the tiny cracks never have a chance to open up like they did before.
