Using any type of super glue around chrome or clear parts can cause a nasty fog to develop, marring the parts. I found this particularly annoying on a recent build of Tamiya’s 1/6 scale Harley-Davidson FLH Classic: There’s a lot of chrome on it, and several places fogged.
I found a solution: I dip one end of a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and wipe the affected area. While the part is still wet, use the other end of the cotton swab to dry the chrome. No more foggy chrome! Dont’ rub the chrome too hard or you may scratch the surface.
