When I decided to construct a small paint booth, I needed a light source for it.  I didn’t want to put a bulb in the booth, so I cut a hole in the top of the booth and covered the hole with a sheet of translucent paper (you can use transparent plastic if you want). Now, I just put a lamp near the opening and I have a lighted booth.
